De Lyzer, Henrica Antonia (nee Blommers)
On February 13, 2022 at Meadow Park Long Term Care Home, Chatham.
Beloved wife for 44 years to Jake De Lyzer (1924-1995).
Loving mother to Adrian De Lyzer (Catherine Brandson), Ken De Lyzer (Sheila Nayler), Patricia De Lyzer (Dave Hannah) and Carol Wymenga (Jerry).
Proud grandma to 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by many extended family members.
Rita immigrated from Holland in 1949 with her family. Jake and Rita were married January 10th, 1951 in Chatham, and lived for many years in Ridgetown, before retiring in Chatham to be closer to family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to Diabetes Canada, Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or Dementia Society.
A Private Service will be live-streamed on Tuesday, February 15th at 11 a.m. https://vimeo.com/event. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf cemetery.
