Obituary of Jean Brown
BROWN: Mary "Jean" (nee Beaton) -
A resident of Chatham and formerly of Tilbury area, Jean Brown passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family at her side on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at the age of 69.
Born in Tilbury West Township, Jean was the daughter of the late John and Flossie (Reid) Beaton.
Loving mother of Candy Millward and Cindy Lanthier, both of Chatham.
Proud Grandma to Holly (Dave), Kayla (Chris), Jazlynn (Jon), Sam, Taylor, and Brandon (Monica).
Great-Grandma to Austyn, Carson, Jarrod, Logan, Maison, Ryder, Levi and Jaxsyn.
Dear sister to Bill and Ken (Stephanie). Predeceased by her siblings Gertie (Joe), Ruth (Alfred) and Jack.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends, extended family and her furry friends Jax, Buddy and Daisy.
Jean will be remembered for the dedication and love she had for her family and friends. She wanted to make sure her family was always taken care of. Jean had a big heart and will live on in our hearts forever.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 3:00 - 5:00pm. Cremation to follow. Those attending are asked to wear casual dress.
Donations made in memory of Jean to the CK Animal Rescue or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
