Earl Towers peacefully passed away at Maple City Residence on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 93.
He was the son of the late Harry and Hilda Towers.
Beloved husband of the late Betty Towers (2018) for 66 beautiful years.
Loving father of Douglas Towers of Chatham and Jayne (Stephen) Pope of Texas.
Predeceased by siblings, Mervin, Doug and Joan (Tremblay).
Earl was an electrician and worked for Rossini Electric. He enjoyed spending time golfing and bowling. He was a hockey player and played for the Chatham Maroons, Wallaceburg Hornets and international teams. Once he hung up his skates golf became his passion.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Maple City Residence for their care and compassion towards Earl throughout his time there.
A private family funeral service to be held at 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Earl may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
