Obituary of Audrey Maxine Campbell
Audrey Maxine Campbell (nee Bennell) passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the age of 93.
She was the daughter of the late Tom & Grace (nee Stewart) Bennell.
Audrey is reunited with her husband, the late John William Campbell.
Dear mother of Kathy Campbell (Chris Girbig) & David Campbell (Nancy Campbell).
Grandma to Debbie (Bill), Brittany (Erik), Jake, Audrey, Laura, Johnny & Nick. GG to Violet, Jade & Jack, and grandma to Jarrod, Jordyn & Justin.
Sister of Tom Bennell, the late Grace Stirling (the late Murray), the late Murray Bennell (the late Robin), and the late Alan Bennell.
Survived by her sister-in-law, Diane Bennell.
Missed by several nieces, nephews and a good friend, Connie Poisson.
Audrey could often be found in the picture window of Kathy's house, waving to anyone who walked by. She was well known around Port Franks, and loved to visit all of the neighbours in the golf cart. She was an amazing quilter & knitter, and was always doing crafts. Audrey was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling into the fictional dimensions from her living room chair.
A Graveside Service will take place on Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery. Those wishing to attend are invited to join the procession from McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown at 10:30 am.
Memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
