Dear Olive and Family
Most of my childhood memories were of Ronny and Debbie and much later Jason-we spent hours playing together-working on the farm and doing chores all together. We all shared Olive's love for animals-taking in every stray, Olive's Dad's pigeons and goose. We spent our Friday nights at Ridge raceway and Christmas Eves together., our summers on the beach. We all learned to drive the old blue car down the back laneway pretending to go on family trips. We were young, carefree and not a worry in the world. Thank-you Olive for all of these memories. Steve spent many hours with Ronny at hockey as Ronny defended their net in the rural league in Ridgetown. Those games were rough, tough and alot of fun! My heart goes out to you all, to Ronny's girls Alysa and Kendra-these are difficult times, I wish you the strength to get through this time. Always hold your Dad in your heart. He was quiet but so strong. May Ronny be at peace as he joins his sister Debbie. Sending our love to you all-Johanna Boodt, Steve Debrouwer and girls xoxoxo

I have a picture of Ron holding my oldest son, Graydon at one of many Christmas Eve celebrations at the family home of the Vandenhende’s back in the mid to late 80s.
