Obituary of Nigel James Sedge
It is with deep sadness the family of Nigel Sedge announce his sudden passing at the age of 29, due to the result of a tragic car accident along with a dear friend Jaimee Doyle on Friday, May 27, 2022.
Born in Chatham, Nigel was the son of Sandy Sedge (nee Carter) and Larry Sedge.
Brother of Andrew Sedge (Shannon) & Nadine Sedge.
Grandson of Gerry & Carol Hall and the late Clarence & Angie Sedge.
Uncle to Sully & Gwen Sedge.
Nigel will be sadly missed by his dog, Diesel.
He will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family & friends.
Nigel will forever be remembered by his best-friends.
Nigel was the proud owner of Kent Floor Sanding. He enjoyed dirt biking and playing pool with his friends. Nigel loved working on his antique vehicles, cruising around Erieau and the county. Nigel was an extremely giving person with his time and talents, helping family members and friends anywhere that is needed. He helped his parents rebuild many of their apartment buildings. He could often be found hanging out with his great group of friends & cousins or just stopping in for a cup of coffee or beer. His silly sense of humor and positive attitude will be greatly missed.
Family to receive friends on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A Celebration of Nigel's life will take place at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
