VEVERKA: Ann Mary (Opavsky) -
A resident of Chatham, Ann Veverka passed away suddenly at Copper Terrace Long Term Care Home on Monday, June 27, 2022, the day before her 94th birthday.
Born in Chatham, Ann was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Zajdlik) Opavsky.
Beloved wife of the late Louis Veverka (2006).
Loving mother of Robert Louis Veverka and Nancy Huber.
Proud grandmother of Michelle Smith and Jason Huber (Liz).
Daughter-in-law to the late Bartholomew and Anna (Holek) Veverka.
Survived by her brother John Opavsky (Susan). Predeceased by her brothers Frank, Joseph and Charles.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends, extended family and her beloved dog Taffy.
Ann loved sewing and gardening, and was very proud of her diploma for sewing and dressmaking.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 12:00pm until the Funeral Service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.
