Peacefully on July 15th, 2022 Mary Elizabeth Moon (nee Whaley) passed away at Copper Terrace Nursing Home at the proud age of 92.
Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ameilia (nee Catt) Whaley.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald F. Moon (2006).
Dear mother of Barry Moon (Laurie) of Red Deer, AB and Michael Moon (Cheryl) of Chatham. Loving Grandma of Sarah Moon and Charity Melnyk (Steve) and Great-Grandma of Kaylee Melnyk and Evan Melnyk.
Mary was a long standing member of I.O.D.E, volunteered for Meals and Wheels and enjoyed a long walk around town.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 at 11 a.m. A private interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery on July 29th, 2022.
If desired, memorial donations to the Chatham Kent Animal Rescue or Heart and Stroke Foundation are appreciated by the family.
