Obituary of David Ross

ROSS: David – It is with sadness that the family of David John Budd Ross announce his passing on July 19, 2022 at the age of 63. David passed away at the Hanover and District Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Pre-deceased by his parents Rod and Louise (Geddis) Ross.

David will be remembered by his sons Byron (Heather) and Kale, sisters Susan (Larry) Larabee and Cynthia (Mike) Hiatt and nephew Daniel Wellwood. David was raised in Wallaceburg, ON. He spent many years working as a construction project manager in Toronto and the Golden Horseshoe.

He was introduced to his carpentry and entrepreneurial skills, as a child, at Parker’s Hardware Store in Alvinston. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed both during the years he lived in Thunder Bay. He was a musician and played keyboard for a band, in his spare time, while working in Winnipeg.

Special thanks to his best friend Merlyn (Marion) Browning for offering solace and support. In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will be remembering him privately.
