DeBaere: Mary Jean (nee Impens) -
A resident of Grande Pointe, Mary DeBaere passed away at home on August 4, 2022 at the age of 86.
Born in Harwich Township, Mary Jean was the daughter of Remi and Celeste (nee Verlinden) Impens.
Beloved wife of 64 years to Arsene.
Dear mother to Juliette Laprise (Augustin) and Michael DeBaere. Proud grandmother to Jennifer, Sherry, Amy, Lisa, Shawn and Michaela; great-grandmother to Jeffery, Heather, Savannah, Brandon, Gavin, Cambrie, Lauren, Blair and Blake.
Dear sister to Willie Impens (Yvonne). Mary will also be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews- Judy and Doug, Joanne and Len.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham, on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
Donations made in memory of Mary to the Parkinson Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
