Obituary of Lorraine Marilyn Woods
A resident of Chatham, Lorraine Woods (nee Summers) passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
She was the daughter of the late Lyle & Audrey (nee Bell) Summers.
Lorraine is reunited with her loving husband, Glen Woods (2006) and loving companion, Brandi.
Dear mother of Lori Woods, Mike Woods, Kim Duggan (Jim) & Robyn Price (Ian).
Grandmother of Kate (Matt), Jill (Derek), Rachel, Carter, Trevor, Steven & Colin.
GG of Wesley & Marta.
Sister of Richard Summers (Pat) & Christine Hayman. Lorraine will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Lorraine worked many years at Zellers, with Fairweather and Cleo/Ricki's in the Downtown Chatham Centre. She loved her mid-afternoon Timmies Iced Capp & watching her afternoon stories. Lorraine enjoyed spending time in Texas & Florida, visiting her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
As per Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Active Lifestyle Centre, 20 Merritt Ave, Chatham. Family & friends are all invited.
In memory of Lorraine, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Pet & Wildlife Rescue.
