Forrest, Ronald
Born in Scotland in 1938, then relocated to Canada to become a resident of Ridgetown, Ronald Forrest passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 84.
He was the son of the late George & Jessie Forrest of Scotland.
Remembered always by his wife of 60 beautiful years, Margaret (nee Torrance).
Father of Brian Forrest (Christine) of Burlington, Ontario and Eric Forrest (Gaile) of Toulouse, France.
Former father-in-law of Heather Shaheen, and Grandfather of Jessie Forrest & Cole Forrest.
Brother of Doreen Reid. Uncle of Craig & the late Grant.
Ron was an avid golfer with the local Golf Courses and enjoyed tennis in his earlier years. He retired after many years as a Sales Engineer with Dominion Bridge.
As per Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church or to the Parkinson's Research at Parkwood Institute (For Parkwood click http://www.givingtowestern.uwo.ca/. Type in ‘Dr. Pasternak Research’ under the designation).
