Obituary of Diana Stone
STONE: Diana -
A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Thamesville, Diane Stone passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 61.
Born in Chatham, Diane was the daughter of Chuck VanSickle (Sonyia) and Kathy James.
Beloved wife of 39 years to Ken Stone.
Loving mother of Jonathon Stone.
Dearly missed by her canine family member Zoey.
Dear sister to Sherry Carpenter, Debbie VanSickle, Shelley McLoughlin and triplet to Darrell VanSickle (Sue) and her late unborn brother.
Sister-in-law to several brothers and sisters-in-law.
Dear friend to Peggy Better.
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Diane was very involved with the Thamesville Community during the years she resided there, including the Thamesville Sertoma Club. She was a woman of great faith in her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and was an active member of Praise Fellowship Church. She loved to celebrate the Christmas and Easter traditions with Ken, Jonathon and her family.
As per Diane's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Praise Fellowship Church, 165 Park Ave East, Chatham on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 1:00pm. Private family committal service to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Diana to the Praise Fellowship Church would be appreciated.
