Obituary of Elizabeth Wickens
Wickens, Elizabeth (nee Merritt)
A longtime resident of Morpeth, Elizabeth Wickens passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at the age of 84.
She was the only daughter of the late Gilbert and Marjorie (nee Spence) Merritt.
Elizabeth is reunited with her late husband, Andrew Wickens and will be remembered always by her two sons, Devin Wickens and Drew Wickens.
Elizabeth retired from the Municipality of Windsor as an Administrative Secretary after 30 years of Service. She was a former member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority where she formed life long friendships. Elizabeth enjoyed painting, spending time by the lake and with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family are to receive friends on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street, Ridgetown. Cremation is to follow.
In memory of Elizabeth, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
