A resident of Chatham, Marilyn Sawdon passed away in the loving arms of her husband Charlie, surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on January 14, 2023 at the age of 65.
Born in Brantford, Marilyn was the daughter of Norman and Muriel (nee.Vyse) Winegardner and Muriel's late second husband Arthur Winegardner.
Survived by her siblings Robin Thompson (Don) of Alberta and her brother Nick Winegardner.
Beloved wife of 44 years to Charlie.
Mum will be greatly missed, but forever remembered by her children, Todd and Jess Winegardner of Chatham, April Sawdon and her fiancée Rob Johnson of Brantford, and Trevor and Allison Sawdon of Chatham.
A special grandmother who will be dearly missed by her many grandchildren including Logan (Julia), Brady, Keira, Hailey, Joshua, Emma, and Kasyn, Jayden , Daemyn, Hudson, Jensen, Griffin, Daniel.
Marilyn is missed by her two fur buddies Rocky and Rosco; who are missing their mama.
Family was always the most important thing in Marilyn's life. The family will hold her memory close in future holidays. Camping trips will never be the same without Grandma BooBoo coming along. Marilyn loved spending time listening to Elvis, keeping Charlie in line, and tossing a quarter in the slot every once in a while.
A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will take place at the Word of Life Gospel Church in Blenheim on Saturday January 21st, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers; Donations made in memory of Marilyn to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, Ck Animal Rescue, or to the Blenheim Word of Life Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.
