Deepest condolences to you on the loss of your mom. May the wonderful memories you have of family times bring you joy when you are feeling sad and may the words of sympathy from family and friends help ease your sorrow in the days ahead. We were neighbours back in the day and Don & my brother Gary used to chum together, and Barb, you and I were in the same grade. My mom (Eileen Brillinger) and your mom used to work together at some church functions. As I recall your mom kept very busy with her family and extracurriculars. She will be greatly missed.

I enjoyed keeping up with Anita's activities as I came and went from the McLaren household. She had a zest for life and had lots of skills. On my wedding day our ushers were goofing around and one of them ripped their suit pants. Anita came to the rescue with a fast sewing job! She will be missed.

Anita was always a pleasure to meet. She shared many stories of her family and our mutual friends and never failed to make me laugh. She made auction sales more interesting too.
I am thinking of all of you at this time.

I was so sad to read of Anita’s passing. I shared many good trips with her and others to grand bend for theatre over the years. She sure enjoyed the outings along with dinner. One of her funniest comments was “What’s for dessert? I’m diabetic, don’t you know?” We always chuckled. She was such a sweet and interesting soul! Sending my sincerest sympathies. Remember though, if you didn’t love you wouldn’t grieve.
Sincerely
Barb Holden

I have known Anita my whole life mostly through Mount Zion church and curling. She was a wonderful person and volunteered for many organizations, mainly the church and I.O.D.E. I'm not able to be present on Saturday March 4, but I will be thinking of Anita's family at this time.

Anita was a very talented lady and a wonderful cook, as Doug once told me we never had the same meal twice.
We enjoyed our times at IODE and as a couple at the Curling Club.
She will be missed !
