A resident of Chatham, Dan Bugera passed away suddenly at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - ChathamCampus on March 7, 2023 at the age of 70.

Born in Roblin Manitoba, Dan was the son of the late William and Love Bugera.

Loving husband of Doris (née Guilbault ). Dear father of Todd Bugera and his wife Kelly. Dear brother of Wes Bugera and his wife Iris, Barry Bugera and his wife Lisa.

Dan will also be greatly missed by his Father and Mother in-law- Ray and Louise Guilbault; brothers in-law Eugene Guilbault and his wife Lou Anne, David Guilbault and his wife Tracy, Ron Guilbault and his wife Jocelyn along with many nieces and nephews.

Dan was a retired employee of the Municipality of Chatham with over 30 years of service in the Parks and Recreation Department.

In keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of the Resurrection at 11:00 a.m. Dan's remains will be laid to rest at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dan's memory can be made to P.A.W., Pet and Wildlife Rescue Chatham-Kent because of Dan's love for animals, or to the Chatham Kent Hospice and would be appreciated by the family.
