Obituary of Lana Brush (Terry)
A resident of Chatham, Lana Brush passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance surrounded by her family on March 30, 2023 at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, Lana was the daughter of the late Hugh and Marjorie (Nee Brown) Terry.
Reunited with her husband Robert Brush.
Much loved mother to Kelly VanKerkhoven (Brian), Sandra Schnekenburger (Dan Newham), Susan Mallette (Pete), Patty Benoit (Rick) and Pam Smith (Jeff).
Cherished Grandmother to Tayler VanKerkhoven (Ryan George), Kate VanKerkhoven, Alexandra Schnekenburger, Ryan Schnekenburger, Kyle Mallette, Sara Mallette, Megan Hatton (Tyler), Melissa Wilkins (Damon), Jenelle Benoit, Reagan Smith and Morgan Smith.
Great-Grandma to Olivia Duquette, Parker Hatton, Charleigh Hatton, Leonard Wilkins and Owen Schnekenburger.
Sister to Lacey Ingram (Roger), Hugh Terry (late Rosalie), the late Lynn Roberts and the late Fred Terry.
Sister-in-law to Carolyn Pitman (late Charles) and the late Joyce Stockford (late William).
Also missed by many nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
Lana loved going out with family and friends, she enjoyed boating, bowling and loved baking for her family.
A private Family Service will be held to honor Lana's life with interment to follow.
In Keeping with Lana's wishes cremation has taken place.
Family would like to thank the compassionate care provided by supportive care, doctors, and nurses at the CKHA medicine unit. Your professionalism and kindness has helped us through this difficult time.
