Obituary of Annie Hough

HOUGH: Annie  (nee Hoek) -

A resident of Chatham, Annie Hough passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the age of 74. 

Born in Uithuizermeeden, Holland, Annie was the daughter of the late Nick and Tina (Wildeboer) Hoek. 

Beloved wife the late Doug Hough.

Dear sister to Lena Sikkema (Jelte), Gus Hoek (Gerda), Tina Dekievit (late Dick), the late Bill Hoek (late Elsie) and Ineke Goossen (Adrian).

Sister-in-law to the late Marvin Hough (late Thelma), the late Calvin Hough (Lois) and Marylin Culbert (Carman).

Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. 

Annie retired as a manager from Bell Canada after over 30 years of service. She loved travelling, especially to Arizona with Doug. 

Annie had been an active member of Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church. 

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 7:00 - 9:00pm. Interment at Arnold Cemetery to take place at 9:30 am before the service. All those wishing to attend are asked to arrive at the Funeral Home for 9 am to process to the graveside. A Funeral Service will be held at Eben-Ezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave E, Chatham, at 11:00am on Thursday, June 1, 2023. 

Donations made in memory of Annie to the Parkinson Society would be appreciated by the family.
