A resident of Dover Township, Paul Louis Laprise passed away surrounded by family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on June 30, 2023 at the age of 65.
Loving son of the late Leo Paul and Edna (née Rylett) Laprise.
Paul will be missed by Siblings, Mary Jean White (Larry 2007), Robert Laprise (Cathy), Shirlie de Jong (Pete) Doreen Levesque (Louis), Diane Jacques (Phil), Roger Laprise.
Forever missed by life long friend Jeannie McEachreon. Close friends Kevin, Glen, Dave, and Mike.
Paul will be dearly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Paul was a quiet man who never asked for much from people. He began his working career at the age of 19 at Navistar retiring after 30 years. Paul enjoyed living on the farm he grew up on, going for coffees uptown, canoeing and fishing, but most importantly spending time with family.
As per Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Interment for family and friends will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Paul to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
