Obituary of Anita Denise Richmond

Richmond: Anita Denise 

Peacefully surrounded by family, at Chatham-Kent Hospice, on Thursday, July 13, Anita Denise Richmond, age 59.

Anita was the beloved wife of Gerry Richmond. 

Born in Sarnia, Ontario to late Tony and Valerie Sedlacek. 

Loving mother to David Turner (Heather), Danielle Turner (Nick), Erin Turner, step-mother of Phillip Richmond. She was the beloved Grandmother to grandson Brayden and granddaughter Aubrey. 

Loving sister to Stan (Chantale) Sedlacek of Pain Court, Bonnie (dec. Gary) Crosby of London, Toni-Marie Cooke (Rob) of Kilworthy, Vicky (Ron) McLarty of London. Sister-in-law to Ruth Babcock (dec. Glen), Gordon Richmond (Linda), Wayne Richmond (Barb), Marvin Richmond (Carol), Cheryl Brooks (Mickey), Tammy Toll (Ian).

Also sadly missed by her Aunt's, Ardee Chapski and Mary Aitken. Cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her brother Michael Sedlacek (May 2023) of Chatham,  nephew Ryan McLarty (2003) and Jonathan Brooks (2018). 

Anita enjoyed staying at home with her family, visiting the trailer in Rondeau, fishing, writing poems, and baking. She will be missed by her beloved dogs Abby and Nikki. 

As per Anita's wishes, she will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm at Anita's House located at 13276 McLarty Line, Ridgetown, ON.
