Obituary of Dan Burnie
A resident of Chatham, Dan Burnie passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 80.
He was the son of the late Joseph & Beatrice (nee MacCallum) Burnie.
Proud father of Sarah Burnie (Marshall Clue), Shannon Burnie & Joe Burnie.
Dear grandfather of Zion Burnie, Danielle Gall, Brock Middleton & Kyle Gall.
Loving brother of Drew Burnie (Deloris) & Beth Clarke (Richard).
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Remembered always by his loving partner, Yvonne Rivers (nee Hasselaar).
As per Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the KBD Hall, 34 Byng Ave, Chatham.
In memory of Dan, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
