Obituary of Vera Taplin
Taplin: Vera Elizabeth (néeRoss) -
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera Elizabeth Taplin August 13th, 2023 at Babcock Community Care, Wardsville Ontario in her 93rd year. Vera was predeceased by her parents, Lorne and Ellen Ross (Hare). Vera was a long time resident of Muirkirk. She was the loving wife to Ross Taplin (2018).
Vera will forever be cherished by her only daughter Debbie McFarland and husband Bruce of Muirkirk.
Loving grandmother to Heather McFarland of Chatham, and grandson Jeffery McFarland and wife Alicia of St. Paul, Alberta. Great-grandmother to Kade and Kynlee.
Fondly remembered by her siblings, Don and Sharon Ross of Tilllsonburg and Don and Marg Bergeron of Windsor, as well as several nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Vera, a dedicated salon owner, lived a vibrant life filled with dance, travel, and cherished her annual trips to Florida alongside her husband Ross. She will be dearly missed.
As per Vera's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at Mckinlay Funeral Home Ridgetown on Thursday, August 31st at 10:00 am until a Memorial service at 11:00. An interment will take place at Duart cemetery at a later date.
