Ridge Raceway, Raleigh (Buxton) Raceway were staples in Larry's life, an avid race car driver and race fan enthusiast. "Number 16", Larry was a living icon at the Raleigh Track; he loved to watch the cars race around the big circle, getting his knuckles scraped and his hands black with grease rebuilding cars and figuring out solutions to problems. Larry was a Handyman's Handyman, he was an electrician, a plumber, a builder, a true master of all trades. Second to none, time spent with his family meant the most to Larry,he will be held forever in their hearts so that his memory may live on.

"So he choose a life as a motor mechanic
And worked his way up with other fanatics
Until the day when he could take his place
On the track's starting grid for the race

He drove his car hard without compromise
As the crowd rubber necked on the straight as they fly
The adrenaline pumped on through his veins
And he knew this was his place and would remain"

As per Larry's wishes Cremation has taken place.

Donations made in memory of Larry to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
