Obituary of Leonard Douglas LaMarsh
LaMarsh: Leonard Douglas 'Len' -
A lifelong resident of Chatham, Len LaMarsh passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, September 4, 2023 at the age of 81.
Born in Chatham Township, Len was the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Blair) LaMarsh.
Beloved husband of the late Sandra LaMarsh (nee Doughty).
Dear father to Robbin LaMarsh and Ella LaMarsh. Predeceased by his step-daughter Jay Lynne Siebert (late Randy).
Grandfather to Barrett Siebert, Richard LaMarsh, Sarah LaMarsh, Lisa LaMarsh, Christopher Litynesky, Julie Ryan, Dustin Ryan and Patrick LaMarsh.
Also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Brother to the late Bernice Doughty (late Ted), the late Donald LaMarsh (late Patricia), Delmer LaMarsh (Mary), the late Mildred "Cookie" O'Brien (Pete) and Linda VanDeKerckhove (late Robert) and the late Bonnie Robbins.
Also missed by friends and extended family.
Len retired after many years working as a millwright. He had a passion for music, and loved singing and playing the guitar.
As per Len's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:00am.
Donations made in memory of Len to the C.N.I.B. would be appreciated by the family.
