Obituary of Clarita Levitt
A resident of Chatham, Clarita Levitt (nee Mocon) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Meadow Park Nursing Home in her 86th year.
She was the daughter of the late Juan & Rosa (nee Silay) Mocon.
Clarita is survived by her husband of 48 years, Lance Levitt.
Predeceased by her 5 siblings.
Remembered always by her granddaughters, grandsons, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Clarita had a passion for Community Service and had a bright and energetic personality. She is known for her ability to sense when someone needs help. Clarita was the Pillar of the Filipino Community in Chatham-Kent. She touched so many lives with her generosity and passion for life.
She will forever be missed by her special nieces, Lilia, Christine & Arsenia, and friends, Hope, Christiane, Cynthia, Sugar, Remy, Trina, Agnes, Vivian, Lita (Jorge), & Roger
Family to receive friends on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 18th, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 52 Croydon Street, Chatham. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
In memory of Clarita, donations may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church or to Christ Church Anglican Church.
