Obituary of Nancy Jean Seney
Nancy Seney, a resident of Merlin, passed away on Friday September 15, 2023 at the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Campus at the age of 84.
She was the daughter of the late Leonard & Gladys (nee Dale) Davis.
Daughter-in-law of the late Harry & Alena Seney.
Beloved wife of 65 years to James "Jim" Seney.
Dear mother of Michael Seney, Janice Presley (Tom), Carolyn Fenton (Paul), & Judy Fisher (Don).
Grandmother of Colin, Jeremy, Ryan (Tabitha), Jonathan (Morgan), Shana (Jason), Emilee (Jordan), Blake (Whitney), Reid (Bryar), Jeffery (Kendra), Bradley (Danielle), Predeceased by grandson, Jason.
Great- Grandmother of Bianca, Kayden, Ryder, Jona, Clare, Nolan, Axel & Ozzy, Olivia, & Owen.
Sister of Marilyn Smith (the late Laurel) & the late Larry Davis (the late Shirley).
Sister-in-law of Shirley Sparks (Dudley), Diana Jones (Jim), & Beverly Seney (Lynda).
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Nancy retired from the Bank of Montreal after 30 years of service as a Bank Teller. She is actively involved as an Associate Member of the Merlin Legion and a devoted member of the Merlin United Church. Nancy enjoyed spending time at the trailer at Wildwood by the Lake, traveling, golfing, bowling, going to the casino and playing cards. She loved bird watching, reading and spending time with her family.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Dialysis Unit for being Nancy's extended family during her time there.
Family to receive friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Merlin Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Nancy to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Dialysis Unit or Merlin United Church would be appreciated.
