Blais: Philippe Jean-Baptiste
A former resident of Chatham, Philippe Blais passed away in Brantford on September 20, 2023 at the age of 90.
Born in Pain Court, Philippe was the son of the late Philippe and Anna (née Bechard) Blais.
Beloved husband of 60 years to the late Rosita Blais (née Robert) (2015).
Cherished father to Bob Blais, Gerard Blais, Nicole & Stewart Faas and Paul Blais.
Proud grandfather to Heather, Melanie, Catherine, Eric, David, Stephanie; and great-grandfather to 11great-grandchildren.
Dear brother to Lucille Monforton and Louis Blais. Predeceased by sister's Angeline Marentette, Jeanette Howard; and brothers Thomas Blais, Raymond Blais and Romain Blais.
In keeping with Philippe's wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Immaculee Conception Church, Pain Court, on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Immaculee Conception Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Philippe to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
