Obituary of Wayne LeClair
LeClair: Wayne - It is with very heavy hearts that the family of Wayne LeClair announce his passing on Sunday, October 8, 2023 in Chatham, Ontario at the age of 66 years.
Wayne was born on March 20, 1957 in Petrolia, Ontario to parents Elie (1989) and Evelyn (Bowden, 2016) LeClair.
He will be dearly missed by his children Kelly-Anne (Melissa), Shaun (Shannon), Mickella (Mitch), Kallum (McKenna), and Kenzie and along with his 7 grandchildren.
He was a cherished brother of Michael LeClair (Debra), and Pamela Kerns (Brian), predeceased by siblings Beverly, David (Lorna), Brian (Susan), and Roger. He was also a very adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Wayne will be truly missed by extended family and remembered fondly by many friends.
Wayne worked as a courier for most of his life delivering goods and driving trucks. He was the friendliest trucker on the road.
Not known for his punctuality, Wayne was always late but worth the wait. He touched so many lives with his sense of humor, hearty laugh, huge heart, helping hands, amazing dance skills, and great company. His family and friends felt his love in everything he did.
A Graveside Service will be held for Wayne at Maple Leaf Cemetery at 1:30pm on Saturday, October 21, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 4pm-8pm at the Central Tavern in Pain Court.
In memory of Wayne, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
