Atwell: Brian Wallace -
A lifelong resident of Highgate, Brian Atwell passed away suddenly at the Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the age of 61.
Born in Chatham, Brian was the son of Jeannette (née Moore) and the late Wallace Atwell (2022).
Beloved partner to Sally Lozon. Lovingly remembered by Sally's children, Jeremy Vaughan, Shalynn Lozon (Rob Duke), Joe Lozon (Raylene Smith) and their families.
Dear brother to Laurie (Mike) O'Leary of London, Linda (James) VanEvery of Thamesville, and Diana (Albert) Morrison of Chatham. Predeceased by his sister Marilyn Atwell (2000).
Beloved uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Brian was a jack of all trades, a friend to many and loved by all.
Brian was an avid hunter, loved watching tractor pulls and enjoyed many summer vacations with family.
Brian had a heart of gold and will be remembered as a teddy bear with an excellent grasp on sarcasm.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 with Rev. Paul McPhail officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery, Highgate.
Donations made in memory of Brian to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
