Travnicek: Shirley Gladys (nee Jeffery) -
A resident of Muirkirk, Shirley Travnicek passed away at the Village on the Ridge in Ridgetown on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at the age of 85.
Born in Newbury, Shirley was the daughter of the late William and Anne (nee Stocking) Jeffery.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley John Travnicek.
Dear mother to Bill (Ginette) Travnicek, Carolyn (Dave) Lucio, Donna (Richard) Sheridan and Nancy Travnicek (Don Trotter).
Proud grandmother to 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brothers Murray, Arthur and Robert Jeffery and her son in law Elvis Taylor.
Shirley will be forever remembered by her family and friends for her love of making pies, canning, sewing, listening to country music and spending time with family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
