Obituary of Clifford Hall
HALL: Clifford Jules
June 17, 1938 - November 13, 2023
A life-long resident of Morpeth, ON, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
He was the son of the late William John and Frances (nee Caron) Hall.
Brother of Clayton (Jeanne) and the late Eugene, Ross, Clint (Doris) and Earl (Carol) Hall.
Loving husband of over 63 years to the late Idabel "Marie" (nee Wilson) (2020) Hall.
Forever loved by his children Cindy Pynenbrouck (Gerard), Steven Hall (Deloris), Tammy Hall, Tim Hall (Jane) and the late Randy Hall.
Survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Cliff spent most of his working years at the Agriculture College in Ridgetown in the maintenance department, where he eventually retired from. Prior to that, he worked on the Alexander Leslie Freighter, the fish tugs in Erieau and drove transport for his brother Clint. He had a love for the outdoors his entire life: fishing, hunting, coon hunting, trapping, woodworking, running a fruit and vegetable stand and camping.
Cliff had a nickname for everybody - not all of them were flattering. However, if you had one, you knew you were part of the family.
He grew up in the Village of Morpeth, where he was born and raised and chose to raise a family of his own. He spent the rest of his days with Marie in his beloved hamlet.
Family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff on the Medicine and Continuing Care Unit at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for their care during Cliff's time there.
Family is to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, November 17, 2023 from 3:00 - 6:00pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00am on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Interment to follow at Morpeth Cemetery.
In memory of Cliff, donations can be made to Morpeth Community Hall.
