Obituary of Ely St. John
St. John: Ely Joseph -
A resident of Chatham, and formerly of Pain Court, Ely St. John passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the age of 67.
Born in Etobicoke Township, Ely was the son of the late Henry and Josephine (née Quenneville) St. John.
Dear brother to Ray St. John (Arlene), Stan St. John (Gayle), the late Clara Carpenter (Gord June) and Edna Lajeunesse (late Omer).
Father to Shagg and Misty.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Ely retired from Pioneer after over 25 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his friends.
As per Ely's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A Graveside Service for Ely will be held at Immaculee Conception Cemetery, Pain Court on Monday, November 27, 2023 at 1:00pm.
Donations made in memory of Ely to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
