Ouellette, Donna Jean (nee Smith)
Donna Jean Ouellette, a resident of Park Street Place, Dresden, passed away at her residence on Wednesday November 29th, 2023 at the age of 89.
She was the daughter of the late Harold & Pearl (nee Rumble) Smith.
Donna will be reunited with her late husband, Maurice Ouellette (June 3, 2003).
Forever loved by her children, Donna Persyn (Mike), Yvonne Pelkey (Bruce), Rick Ouellette (Doris), Mike Ouellette (Eileen), Robert Ouellette (Lori), and Lori Leblond (Pierre).
Proud loving grandma of Christopher Persyn (Beverly), the late Shawn Persyn (Mary), Jason Pelkey, Matthew Pelkey (Diane), Adam Pelkey, Amanda Gonyou (Ryan), Angela Ouellette (Jacquie), the late Nicole Ouellette, Sherri Gray (Al), Kim Oblak (Adam), Jamie Ouellette, Tyler Ouellette (Kelly), Ryan Ouellette, Jean Leblond (Julie), Chantelle Leblond (Claude), & Alexandre Leblond (Emilie) and several great-grandchildren.
Sister of John Smith (Phyllis) & Margo Bechard (Gerard). Predeceased by siblings, Wayne Smith (Rose), Don Smith (Annie), Harland Smith (Kay), & Leroy Smith.
Sister-in-law of Don Ouellette (MaryAnn), Betty Ann Ouellette, & John Brady (Barb).
Predeceased by brother-in-laws, Gerald Ouellette, James Ouellette, Victor Ouellette (Diane), Louis Ouellette (Pat) & sister-in-law, Jeannette Brady.
Missed by many nieces, nephews, & extended family and friends.
Donna and Maurice farmed, lived and delivered mail in Tupperville area for many years, owned & operated the General Store in Tupperville and worked with the laundry mat in Wallaceburg. She enjoyed to crochet, knit and watch game shows. Donna was a member of St. Michael's Church, Dresden. Her family was everything to her.
Family to receive friends on Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham 5:30 - 8:30 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
In memory of Donna, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
