Obituary of Barbara Ann Garrod
How lucky we are to have loved someone that makes saying goodbye so difficult.
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Barbara Garrod.
Barbara passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, her neice Melinda Slaney (Sean), and her great nephew and neices Joshua (Sami-Jo), Hailee, Kerrigan (Wesley).
Barbara was a kind soul who will be greatly missed by many people. She spent her life caring for, and thinking of others. She was a dear sister, and a proud aunt, great aunt, and great great aunt. She was an amazing knitter and crocheter. She enjoyed watching hockey and soap operas and going out for lunch to Boston Pizza; but most of all she loved spending time with her family, close friends, and her adored furry friend Seger.
A private service will be held for Barbara in her home town of Windsor, where she will be laid to rest with her late mother and father, Geraldine and Alfred Garrod.
Donations may be made in memory of Barbara to an Animal Shelter/Rescue or Animal Organization of your choice.
