Mom was a very hard worker, picking tomatoes in the fields, helping dad put up panelling and ceiling tiles when they were building their home and working at Hunts, Olmsteads and Heinz during the tomato seasons.

After retiring, mom loved to spend her time babysitting, baking the grandkids their favourite treats and attending many of their special events to cheer them on.  She was always willing to jump in the truck with dad to go for a ride around town, to get an ice cream or two or to stop at the odd yard sale. Christmas was always a special time of year in their home. Mom always enjoyed watching dad decorating the house and yard and was always making new recipes for all of us to sample when we were spending lots of family time together.

In their retirement years, mom and dad were inseparable for 64 years- wherever they went. And now, they are together again.
