Peacefully surrounded by family, George Mouissie, a resident of Chatham passed away on January 22, 2024 at the age of 54.
George was the son of Gerrit and Peetje Mouissie. Beloved step-son to Pierette Mouissie. Beloved brother to Henk and Mary Mouissie and Gerda LaRose and Lionel Shadd. Step-brother to Gerard and Claude Massicotte. Cherished uncle to Gerrit, Lindsey, Megan, Michelle, Michael, Raydon, and Alexandre. Great-uncle to Tessa, Zoe, Troy, Kaylee, and Noah. George will be missed by many friends, extended family, and caregivers.
Family will receive friends on Monday January, 29, 2024 from 12:30 pm until the Funeral Service at 1:30 pm at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St. Chatham, Ontario. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery following the service.
