Nicholson: Anne Elaine (née Colby) -
A resident of Merlin, Anne Nicholson passed away at home peacefully on February 1, 2024 at the age of 93.
Born in Chatham Anne was the daughter of the late William David and Eliza Ann (née Oliver)
Anne is reunited with her soulmate Bill.
Loving mother to Kim Nicholson of Chatham and Reid Nicholson of Merlin.
Grandmother to Logan Nicholson of Merlin and Dawn VanEvery (Ben) of London.
Great-grandmother to Nash, Benton, Madison, Bella, Faith and Brooklyn.
Sister to Duncan, William David III, John and Hugh.
Anne was an avid gardener and bird watcher. She loved her coffee date's with her girlfriends. Anne was very active in the church and her community and will be deeply missed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kelly, Maxine and Jackie.
The family will receive friends at 12:30pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at McKinlay Funeral Home 459 St. Clair st Chatham, Funeral Service to celebrate Anne's life to starting at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations made in memory of Anne to the Merlin and Area Kinsman Park Foundation or the Chatham-Kent Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
