Abreu Ferreira: Jose Tome -
A resident of Chatham, Jose Abreu Ferreira passed away surrounded by loving family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on February 15, 2024 at the age of 68.
Born in Madeira, Jose was the son of Balbina (née Abreu) and the late Henri Ferreira.
Beloved husband of 32 years to best friend and partner Joy Dunn.
Loving father to Jody, Michael and Mark.
Papa to Hunter, Logan, Noah, Reid, Doyle, Gracin, Rysen, Sam and Riley.
Brother to Ted, Darlene, Susy and Theresa.
Jose will be missed dearly by many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In keeping with Jose's wishes cremation has taken place and a funeral service in memory of Jose will be held at a later date in Cambridge.
Donations made in memory of Jose to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
