Gobert: Sherry Anne (née Szucs) -
A resident of Chatham, Sherry Gobert passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side on February 28, 2024 at the age of 68.
Born in Chatham, Sherry was the daughter of Angela (née Raspburg) and the late George William Szucs.
Beloved wife of 47 years to John.
Loving mother to Candice Girard (Matthew) and Jordan Gobert (Meredith).
Grandma Sherry to Aidan and Liam Girard, Ethan, Averie, Adam, Claire, Logan, Elliot, and Jack Gobert.
Loving Sister to Brian (Grace) Szucs.
Will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Sherry had a zest for life, a passion for gardening and lived for her grandchildren. Sherry could always be found cuddled up on the couch reading a good book, sitting poolside with her husband John or gallivanting the town with her mom.
In keeping with Sherry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, March 3, 2024 from 11:00am until the Celebration of Sherry's life at 1:00pm.
Donations made in memory of Sherry to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
