Obituary of Manny Wrobel
WROBEL: Manfred "Manny" Karl Eric -
A resident of Chatham, Manny Wrobel passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family at his side on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the age of 70.
Born in Toronto, Manny was the son of the late Richard and Erika (née Grothe) Wrobel.
Survived by his two sons Kris Wrobel (Heather) and Nick Wrobel (Andrea) and daughter Caitlin Wrobel (late Jamie Marek, 2014).
Proud Opa to Calleigh, Gracie, Detrick, Milo, Weston, Aubrie, Kyle, Ruby and Violet.
Brother to Heidi Coleman (Terry), Doris Coleman, John Wrobel (Ann) and Rick Wrobel (Christina).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Manny retired from Union Gas after over 30 years of service.
On the weekends, and in his retirement, you could often find Manny playing the drums or bass guitar on a stage or taking care of horses. He enjoyed arranging and producing for the many bands that he was part of.
Manny was an ardent Toronto Maple Leafs fan.
As per Manny's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 95 Marlborough St. N., Blenheim on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10:00am until the Funeral Liturgy at 11:00am.
Donations made in memory of Manfred to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
