Obituary of Carol Pilbeam
Pilbeam: Carol Ann (née Rose) -
A resident of Ridgetown, Carol Pilbeam passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on April 2, 2024 at the age of 72.
Born in Chatham, Carol was the daughter of the late Maurice and Vera (née DeLaet) Rose.
Beloved wife to the late Jack George. Life long friend to her first husband, the late Albert Pilbeam Sr. and his wife Janet Pilbeam.
Dear mother to Mindy and Paul, Albert and Missy, Kelly and Mat; step-mother to Darlene, Mike, Sherri, Larry, Steve, Jamie, Ken and Vickie.
Proud grandmother to Paige and Dustin, Hunter and Carrison, Alison, Jillian, Devin, Jaxon and Lynly. Carol will also be dearly missed by many step-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her brother Edmund (Spike) Rose.
Carol was an active member and Past-President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #243 in Ridgetown where she was proud to serve and support her community. She will be forever remembered by her family and friends for her integrity and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In keeping with Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at the Legion in Ridgetown.
Memorial donations made in memory of Carol to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #243 would be appreciated by the family.
