Goldhawk: Jake (Dwane) Joseph Ernest-
A resident of Ridgetown, Jake (Dwane) Goldhawk passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 2, 2024 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of 57 years to Brenda (née Tuck).
Loving Father to Paul Goldhawk (Joelle) and Lora Prout.
Caring Papa to Brittany (Jeremy), Meredith (Colton), Rachel (Branden), Derian, Courtney (Logan), and Kelsey (Matt).
Cherished Papa to six great-grandchildren.
Jake was a lover of sports especially hockey and baseball, he was a true Toronto fan in every way and always encouraged others to cheer and be a fan. He loved coaching little league. Jake was an avid traveller and knew his way around the garden. He was a family man and cherished every moment and milestone.
Jake was a friendly and outgoing man and will be greatly missed by many.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 3:00 - 7:00pm and a Funeral Service in memory of Jake will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday April 5, 2024 at 11:30am. Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Jake by cheque or cash to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation Toronto Orthopaedic Clinic would be appreciated by the family. Alternatively you can make a general donation online to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation.
