Smit, Susanna (Klein)
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Susanna Smit (Klein), who passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024 in her 82nd year surrounded by her family.
Susanna was born in Romania on August 16th, 1941 and came to Canada in 1948 with her family.
Beloved wife to the late Jozef Smit, loving mother to Sue McClatchey and Maryann Edgar and husband Paul.
Devoted grandma to Susan and Glen Caetano, Joey and Amanda McClatchey, and Sammy, Katie and Ally Edgar.
Cherished GG to Noah, Spencer and Gavin Caetano, and John and Scott McClatchey.
Susanna was the daughter of the late John and Katherina (Emrich) Klein, sister to the late John, George and Martin Klein, Mary Pawlak and Katherine Emrich.
Family life was Susie's priority; her greatest joy came from being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and spending time together.
A Private Family Graveside will take place.
