McLagan: John Pierce
Peacefully, surrounded by family John passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, John was the Son of James and Ruby (née Spearman) McLagan.
Kind and loving husband of 53 years to Diane (Nee Murray) and Sweetheart for 57.
Adored and cherished Dad to Shealynn (Trevor) Murray of Leamington, and Kelly (Jim) Smyth of Stoney Point.
Caring and supportive Grandpa to his Grandchildren Noal (Mayna), Zack, Brennan, Kellen, Emry, and Finn. Grandpa was their biggest fan in all of their endeavors.
John's memory will be cherished by his brother James "Mick" and sister Gale.
John will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family members.
Donations made in memory of John to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial visitation will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 from 11:00 am until the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.
