Dymerski: Roland Brent
March 12, 1975 - April 23, 2024
Roland was originally from Shrewsbury, but roamed for a few years, eventually settling in Chatham.
Roland is predeceased by his mother Baula and father Tadeuz (Ted) Dymerski, stepmother Velma and niece Krystle Hockridge.
Roland is also predeceased by many aunts, uncles, grandparents, nieces and nephews.
Roland is loved by his 8 year old daughter Enya Mae Grace Dymerski and she also loves him immensely. Roland had a few stepchildren, Dennis Bergsma, Wendy (Bergsma) Smith (Jared), Heather (Bergsma) Kumpess (Jay), Heidi (Bergsma) Nead (Jacob), Echo Kuhn Norris and Amelia Gravel.
Papa to Katelynn, Tysen, Ava, Dakota, Joannie, Bryce, Brayden, Gracie and Crystal and two great-grandchildren, Amaya and Neveah.
Survived by his sisters Christena, Anna, Threasa, Celina and brother Ted.
Uncle to AJ, Noland, Joseph and many great-nieces and nephews.
Roland was a compassionate person, listening many hours both at work as a Peer Support Worker at Chatham Consumes Survivor Network or as a friendly ear at the coffee shop or on Facebook. He had a love music, and formerly ran Diamond DJ Service. He was a hardcore WWE fan.
Roland will be sadly missed by family and special friends Jane Norris, Tanya Kneale and Mary Rankin.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 4:00 - 6:00pm. A Celebration of Roland's life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 29, 2024. Cremation to follow.
Donations made in memory of Roland to the Canadian Diabetes Association and Mental Health Chatham-Kent would be appreciated by the family.
