Obituary of Dan Lucio
Lucio: Daniel Julius -
A resident of Chatham, Dan Lucio passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on April 27, 2024 at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, Dan was the son of the late Joseph and Elsie (née Neutens) Lucio.
Beloved husband of 54 years to Marianne (née Gilhula).
Survived by his brother Robert (Mila) Lucio; sister Dolores Hall (Steve); sister-in-law Wanda Lucio (late Victor); sister-in-law Patricia Bossolini.
Predeceased by his brother Victor Lucio; brothers-in-law Cameron Gilhula, David Gilhula.
Dan will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He will be forever remembered for his love of playing darts, his handyman skills and travelling with friends.
A special thank you is extended to the staff of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for the care and support given to Dan and his family.
In keeping with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations made in memory of Dan to the CK Animal Rescue or Pet and Wildlife Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
