LAITY, Norman Stanley -

In gratitude for a long life well lived, and with deep sorrow the family announces that in his 99th year, Dad passed into eternal rest on May 18th, 2024, in Chatham, Ontario in the arms of his family. May the Lord, with Enis and Rayden by His side, welcome our Dad with open arms.

Norman was the beloved husband to the late Enis (nee Oliverio) for 68 years. Cherished father of Donald (late Elizabeth Laity), Dr. Alan (Sharon Laity), and Mary Lou (Tom Muschik).

Born to Alice and Howard Laity on September 27th, 1925, Norman was the last surviving member of his generation within his family.

Dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews whom he adored and a mentor and friend to many.

His love for his family was nothing short of stellar and will be forever cherished by all of us.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Medicine Unit in Wallaceburg and in Chatham, the staff at Riverview Gardens, sixth floor, for their exemplary care and support throughout dad’s illness.
