Nick will be missed by his special Aunt Zoe Devlaminck and will be missed by many Nieces  Nephews and countless friends.

Nick "Dad" was a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather and protector. Nick was a factory worker at Rockwell and Navistar for many years. He enjoyed sports, especially Baseball, Hockey, Golfing and swimming in his pool. Nick loved spending time with his family; he was a devoted fan of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. Nick played Fastball and Maple City Slo Pitch for more than half of his life. He was an umpire and coached his son Rick in Minor Hockey and Minor Baseball. His favourite pastime was watering his lawn for hours on end and tending his gardens. Nick was also a Jaycee working with the Jaycee fair, parade, corn roast, Christmas tree sales and Haunted House.

Nick provided many life lessons, some tough, some not so tough nonetheless very important. He left behind some very big shoes for his descendants, present and future to fill, but he could not have accomplished any of this without his wife Mary-Jean. His soulmate, love of his life and the matriarch of the family by his side.
