Barks: Mary Jane Ella Jean (née Houle) -
A resident of Merlin, Ella Barks passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on July 2, 2024 at the age of 79.
Born in Tilbury East, Ella was the daughter of the late Peter and Amanda (née Demars) Houle.
Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Larry Barks.
Predeceased by her son Jim Barks and her daughter Sandra Charron.
Proud grandmother to Kayla Smith (Stephanne Baribeau), Devin Barks, Ryan Barks, Stevie-Ray Charron and great-grandson Michael Smith.
Ella will also be dearly missed by her sisters Hylda Lafleur and Elaine Sharron.
In keeping with Ella's wishes cremation has taken place and a private service to take place at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Ella to the Big Fix Grassroots Cat Rescue would be appreciated by the family.
